About The Position
The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a Machinery Attendant to join the Housekeeping Team! Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star property is consistently ranked among the world's best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining. As a Housekeeping Machinery Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Responsibilities
- Scrub, buff, mop, extract, vacuum, wash, and dust all areas of hotel
- Maintain cleanliness of walls, ceilings, floors, columns, and furniture.
- Maintain all Housekeeping and guest areas by using appropriate equipment, machines, and supplies
- Detail cleaning of ice machine rooms, woodwork in guestrooms, corridors and miscellaneous Housekeeping areas
- Greet guests in a friendly manner
- Performs routine preventive maintenance duties for all equipment and machinery
- Organizes and maintains inventory of machinery storage area
- Completes special projects or other duties as assigned
