About The Position

The Wyndham Garden Baronne, Housekeeping Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within the accommodation and food services industry. This position is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with established hygiene and safety protocols. The role requires a keen eye for detail to identify any deficiencies or maintenance issues and to ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to company policies and procedures. By upholding these standards, the Housekeeping Inspectress directly contributes to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests, enhancing their overall experience. This position also involves collaborating closely with housekeeping teams and management to implement continuous improvements and training initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in housekeeping or hospitality services.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a supervisory or inspection role within the hospitality industry.
• Certification in hospitality management or related field.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to accommodation services.
• Proficiency in using inspection and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or cleanliness deficiencies to the appropriate departments promptly.
• Provide feedback and coaching to housekeeping staff to improve performance and adherence to company standards.
• Maintain detailed records of inspection results and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with management to develop and update housekeeping procedures and training materials.
