This role verifies room readiness and supports staff to maintain exceptional quality.
Requirements
- Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to coach and support team members effectively.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to lift 20–30 lbs and push/pull carts.
- Indoor and outdoor work environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Inspect assigned rooms for cleanliness, proper setup, and supply levels.
- Document deficiencies and verify timely corrections.
- Report maintenance issues immediately.
- Provide coaching and quality-check support for staff.
- Inspect VIP rooms and special request accommodations.
- Coordinate room readiness with other resort departments.
- Assist with cleaning when needed during high-demand periods.
- Uses phone to track/monitor room cleans through the location's computer program.
- Pre and post-storm preparations.
- Support laundry or public-area tasks as required.
