About The Position

Housekeeping Inspector Location: Coconut Palms Beach Resort II – New Smyrna Beach, FL Job Type: Part-Time What’s in it for You? Competitive pay based on experience! This role verifies room readiness and assists staff in maintaining consistent quality.

Requirements

• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to coach and support team members.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, proper setup, and supply levels.
• Document deficiencies and ensure timely corrective action.
• Report maintenance needs promptly.
• Support staff with training, quality checks, and guest service.
• Inspect VIP rooms and special requests as assigned.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure rooms are ready on time.
• Assist with cleaning during high-demand times.
• Support laundry or public-area tasks as needed.
• Uses phone to track/monitor room cleans through the location's computer program
• Pre and post-storm preparations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
