About The Position
The DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville - Biltmore location, where this position is based, is expected to close in summer 2026 for renovation. This position is time-limited due to the expected closure of this hotel property. Transfers to one of three other Biltmore Farms hotels may be available to hired associates in advance of the planned closure, but are not guaranteed. It takes a team of dedicated individuals to accomplish this every day, and as the Porter/Houseperson, you are a huge part of our clean team. Successful candidates must be strong team players.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Should have knowledge of hotel housekeeping and general cleaning techniques
- Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds
- Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
- Must be able to work with cleaning products and solvents regularly
- Must be strong team players
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in hotel housekeeping a plus
