We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated Floor Care Technician (Janitorial) to help maintain a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and deep cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and polishing. Maintain carpets through vacuuming, spot cleaning, shampooing, and extraction as needed. Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, burnishers, extractors, and auto scrubbers. Follow proper safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Ensure hallways, dining areas, resident rooms, and common areas meet cleanliness and infection control standards. Assist housekeeping staff with general cleaning tasks as needed. Monitor and report any floor damage, safety hazards, or necessary repairs to the supervisor. Maintain inventory of floor care supplies and request replacements when necessary. Adhere to all facility policies, health and safety guidelines, and state and federal regulations. Clean and sanitize public bathrooms, common areas, rehab gym, and offices. Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish furniture and fixtures as needed. Remove trash and replace liners. Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. Report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the supervisor.
