The Housekeeping Associate performs all cleaning operations, ensuring a positive first impression for internal and external customers.

Requirements

Minimum of two years’ experience in commercial cleaning preferred
Knowledge of cleaning machinery and chemicals
Knowledge of various cleaning techniques
Skills in using cleaning machinery.
Willingness to operate all cleaning machinery.
Capable of repetitive use of hands and body
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work as a team or alone when assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Cleans and/or polishes all stainless surfaces, glass, acrylic, mirrors, and floors daily (this includes washing walls, doors, and windows as needed).
Power sweeps, vacuums, dust-damp mops, and surfaces daily.
Stripping and resealing floors as needed on a scheduled basis.
Carpet and upholstery cleaning on a scheduled basis
Removes trash and recycle daily.
Bales recycling and runs compactor.
Cleans dock area.
Cleans, sanitizes, disinfects, and restocks public and employee restrooms and shower areas daily.
Cleans offices, kitchens, break areas, police exhibit routes, and backup areas.
Provides safe cleanup of vomit and other body waste.
Follows OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens guidelines for safe disposal.
Collects coins and debris from T-22.
Turns in money to the Lead or Housekeeping Transports and stocks supplies and equipment and report usage to the Lead for reordering.
Daily laundry duties.
Records work performed daily on a work log prepared by the Lead.
