Your work directly supports the health and well-being of everyone in our nursing home, ensuring compliance with sanitation and infection control standards.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and offices.
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces and equipment to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Dispose of trash and hazardous waste in accordance with facility policies and safety regulations.
  • Follow established infection control and safety procedures.
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
  • Respond courteously to resident and staff requests for housekeeping services.
  • Respect residents' privacy and personal belongings while performing duties.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects or emergency cleaning needs as required.
