About The Position
The Housekeeping Services Assistant works under the general supervision of the Housekeeping Services Group Leader and is responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of patient and non-patient areas, preparing rooms for incoming patients and performs other duties as assigned. Responsible for linen and waste processing.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning patient care areas, rest rooms, offices, and isolation rooms.
- Removing waste and soiled linens.
- Maintaining the housekeeping cart and restocking the housekeeping closet.
