About The Position

The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good communication skills, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment preferred but not required.
Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a non-gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission and the Indiana Horse Racing Commission.
