About The Position

Landmark Hospital of Joplin has an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our dedicated and professional team! This position is PRN as needed and is mainly weekends. Landmark Hospitals are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and quality of care to those we serve.

Summary: Maintains premises in a clean and orderly manner, using a professional and customer service-focused approach.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Hospital cleaning experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Must be a team player with a strong attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass background check

Responsibilities

• Cleans patients' rooms, common areas, ancillary areas, restrooms, locker rooms, halls, offices and any other areas that require attention
• Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows/window coverings floors and carpets
• Cleans by dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping, replenishes supplies, moves furniture, and hangs draperies
• Ensures all waste is disposed of properly and supplies are maintained.
• Strictly follows isolated and infection control procedures and safety procedure
• Must be able to interact with patients, visitors, and coworkers in a warm, friendly and respectful manner.
