About The Position
Golden Years Homestead is a mission-driven Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) providing independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care . Our housekeeping team plays a key role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to support our community. This role primarily serves Independent Living , with occasional support in Assisted Living and Healthcare areas. Your work directly impacts resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, or healthcare is a plus
- Friendly, respectful, and resident-focused attitude
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform routine cleaning tasks
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties in resident apartments and common areas
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces and bathrooms
- Empty trash, restock supplies, and maintain housekeeping equipment
- Complete deep cleaning of resident units as needed (monthly, move-outs, transfers)
- Follow infection control procedures and PPE guidelines
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
