ABOUT US In our 70 years as a non-profit , the Sunshine Terrace Foundation has grown from a small nursing home housing twelve, to a campus of short-term & long term health services that include rehabilitation, assisted living, senior exercise, health education, and multiple types of therapy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Must be able to be on your feet for most of the day
• Must be able to lift heavy loads with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning assigned areas as scheduled, including; restrooms, resident rooms, common areas, dining rooms, nursing stations, shower rooms, soiled linen rooms, halls, etc.
• Vacuums, dusts, washes windows, sweeps, mops, etc.
• Gathers and disposes of trash.
• Responsible for deep cleaning of rooms when rooms are vacated
• Adheres to cleaning procedures and wears all necessary personal protective equipment.
• Meets quality and quantity requirements in a timely manner and keeps all required cleaning records
• Follows all company policies and procedures including confidentiality requirements
• May strip and refinish flooring, or shampoo carpets as needed
