About The Position

The Sports and Racquet Housekeeping position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the sports and racquet areas. This includes equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a customer-focused attitude to maintain a high standard of service.

Responsibilities

• Court Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and clean racquetball court Ensure the courts are free of debris and maintain a clean playing surface.
• General Cleaning: Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, and showers. Clean and organize common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and seating areas. Vacuum carpets and clean floors, windows, and walls.
• Equipment Maintenance: Check racquet and other sports equipment for wear and tear; report any damages or needed repairs. Ensure proper storage and organization of sports gear.
• Trash and Recycling: Empty trash cans and ensure proper disposal of waste materials. Replenish waste bins and recycling stations throughout the facility.
• Customer Service: Greet guests and ensure their needs are met in regard to cleanliness and equipment. Address any immediate housekeeping concerns raised by customers.
• Safety and Maintenance: Monitor facility for potential safety hazards and address them (i.e., wet floors, broken equipment). Report any issues with facilities to management or maintenance teams.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of housekeeping supplies and order new supplies as needed. Maintain inventory logs for cleaning products and equipment.
