About The Position

The on-site housekeeper is responsible for keeping all public use areas and vacant apartments clean and presentable to residents and prospective residents.

Requirements

  • Must be detail oriented, have high standards, and able to work independently.
  • Have a strong set of customer service skills.
  • Perform various physical activities with both hands.
  • Carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Operate property-related equipment such as a vacuum, golf cart or motor vehicle.
  • Read and understand basic instructions and documents.
  • Demonstrates ability to resolve conflict in a calm and professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours/days/weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assure that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times.
  • Perform general cleaning assignments in apartments (including, but not limited to vacuum, mop or dust floors, wash windows, clean kitchen appliances, counters and sink areas.), hallways and common areas (fitness center, laundry area, etc.)
  • Prepare apartments for move-in as assigned.
  • Make apartments prospect ready for new residents to include: identifying damages and cleaning required in and around the apartments.
  • Inform supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns.
  • Utilize cleaning chemicals properly and safely.
  • Communicate with the Supervisor about unsafe or hazardous environments on the property.
  • Other duties as required.
