Housekeeper coordinates housekeeping services with nursing services whenever routine assignments occur in resident living areas or common areas and whenever emergency needs arise including routine/terminal isolation procedures. Housekeeper performs terminal cleaning procedures, as instructed, when a resident is discharged and/or transferred to another room/area. Housekeeper reports all accidents, incidents, hazardous conditions or equipment to the Supervisor and keeps work/assignment areas free of hazardous objects, such as protruding mop/broom handles, unnecessary equipment, etc. Assures that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times, as well as before leaving such areas for breaks, meal times, and end of the work day. Requirements

Previous housekeeping experience required.
Able to read, write, and understand the English language and speak the language in an understandable manner.
Be a minimum of (18) years of age.
Able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, cleaning instructions, etc.
Able to push, pull, lift 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally push up to 150 lbs. and move equipment, supplies, etc., throughout the work day.
Possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing housekeeping practices.
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID19.
