Housekeeper coordinates housekeeping services with nursing services whenever routine assignments occur in resident living areas or common areas and whenever emergency needs arise including routine/terminal isolation procedures. Housekeeper performs terminal cleaning procedures, as instructed, when a resident is discharged and/or transferred to another room/area. Housekeeper reports all accidents, incidents, hazardous conditions or equipment to the Supervisor and keeps work/assignment areas free of hazardous objects, such as protruding mop/broom handles, unnecessary equipment, etc. Assures that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times, as well as before leaving such areas for breaks, meal times, and end of the work day.
