Custodian / Laundry Aide - Part-time Days 7a-3p
About The Position
Having a clean space matters. Especially in healthcare. As a Housekeeper (or Custodian) in our medical center, you help create a safe, welcoming environment where residents can heal and feel at home. Your work supports dignity, comfort, and recovery every single day. Requirements
- At least 1 year similar experience in a medical / healthcare facility or commercial cleaning setting (strongly preferred)
- Must be 18 years of age or older AND hold a High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) safety and sanitation rules
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to regularly push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds, and pass a pre-employment physical and background check. This position will require extended periods of walking and standing to perform duties
