About The Position
Friendship Village is recruiting for Compassionate and Energetic Caregiver to join our Independent Living Team! This opportunity is Part Time 1st shift 7a-3p every other weekend, has Flexible Scheduling, Benefits, and A Fun Work Environment. Starting pay is $16.00. This role provides full-scope, hands on functions within the community. Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Ability to document care given.
Nice To Haves
- Prior geriatric care experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
- Transfers, transports and escorts patients as needed.
- Answers signal lights promptly
- Gives prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel in non-professional duties and care of residents under supervision of RN and LPN.
