About The Position

This is an opening for a Full Time Housekeeper/Janitor for a Luxury Mixed-Use Residential & Commercial Community with a Locally Based, Nationwide Apartment Management Company. The role involves inspecting and cleaning various community rooms, lobbies, mailrooms, fitness centers, laundry rooms, building hallways, stairwells, storage areas, and vacant/model apartments. The position also includes performing rotation cleaning duties, monitoring cleanliness, emptying trash, dusting, polishing, and disinfecting, while ensuring compliance with safety rules and maintaining inventory.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
• Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
• Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean community rooms, lobbies, mailrooms, fitness center, laundry rooms, building hallways and stairwells, and storage areas
• Inspect and refresh vacant apartments and model apartment
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
• Wipe down and vacuum elevator interiors and building hallways
• Assist in the cleaning of market ready units
• Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) as required
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
• Empty trash containers and recycle bins
• Dust and polish all furniture in common areas
• Clean and disinfect toilets and replenish supplies in public restrooms
• Report any maintenance concerns for repairs of available apartments, model apartment, clubhouse or common areas to the maintenance staff
• Assist in clean-up of resident functions
• Represent the community in a professional manner at all times on and off the property
• Compliance with all company, federal, state and local safety rules
• Immediately report all unsafe conditions
• Respond immediately to spills and slippery conditions
• Maintain accurate inventory of materials and supplies
• Notify Maintenance Supervisor of any items that need to be restocked
• Any and all duties associated with the successful operation of the property
