About The Position

Shift: Full-time, evenings 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, for 80 hours per pay period, holiday and weekend rotation. The Housekeeper I NE is responsible for helping to maintain a clean and hygienic environment by performing scheduled cleaning and responding to emergency spills. The role complies with Medicare, Medicaid, and infection control standards, completes required training, and adheres to vaccination protocols. Requirements

  • Customer/patient focused
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, speak and understand English
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform functions of the position

Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, and hospital areas according to established protocols
  • Remove trash, linen, and biohazard waste safely and appropriately
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and linens
  • Follow infection prevention and safety guidelines at all times
  • Respond promptly to cleaning requests to support patient care
  • Work collaboratively with nursing, EVS, and hospital staff
