Pikes Peak Hospice has an immediate opening for an Environmental Services Aide (Housekeeper). The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe environment in all areas of the facility. Maintains cleanliness of patient rooms and other areas of facility as assigned by removing trash, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning of sink, shower and toilet Stocks all paper products and patient related supplies Reports any safety or maintenance issues to Facility Manager Responds to patient and staff cleaning needs in a timely and respectful manner Maintains that equipment is in clean and working order Maintains confidentiality and follows all HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma preferred but not required. Must obtain GED within 12 months of employment.
  • Minimum Experience: Two years of work experience in a healthcare setting
  • Required Certification: None
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift/push/pull minimum of 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe environment in all areas of the facility.
  • Maintains cleanliness of patient rooms and other areas of facility as assigned by removing trash, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning of sink, shower and toilet
  • Stocks all paper products and patient related supplies
  • Reports any safety or maintenance issues to Facility Manager
  • Responds to patient and staff cleaning needs in a timely and respectful manner
  • Maintains that equipment is in clean and working order
  • Maintains confidentiality and follows all HIPAA guidelines
