About The Position
Housekeepers and Laundry Aides are skilled in a wide range of functions that help maintain and contribute to the appearance and cleanliness of the community.
Requirements
- A minimum of six months experience in housekeeping or laundry.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning rooms and public areas including vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash and soiled linens.
- Stocking supply carts
- Operating large laundry machinery
- Observe and reports unusual symptoms, changes, accidents, and injuries to nursing staff in a timely manner.
- Interacts with residents and family members in a cheerful and positive manner and shall be respectful of resident's personal belongings.
- Maintains an effective relationship with all departments and professional staff.
