They are seeking someone to take ownership of the afternoon and evening rhythm of their home, blending childcare, coordination, and a calm, capable presence. The ideal candidate will be proactive, anticipating needs and ensuring everything runs smoothly. The family has a 3-year-old and a 7-year-old. The 7-year-old is creative, artistic, and thoughtful, thriving with imaginative engagement. The 3-year-old is active, curious, and in a busy stage where boundaries and playfulness are key. The role involves working alongside a fantastic, long-term daytime nanny, requiring good communication and collaboration, with flexibility to occasionally switch days. Outdoor time is a significant part of the afternoons. The position requires managing the household flow, including preparing meals, resetting the kitchen, handling children's laundry, school pickups, activities, homework, dinner, bath, and bedtime. Occasional late evenings until around 9:30 pm are expected when parents are traveling, requiring flexibility and confidence to manage the evening independently. This is a long-term position for someone looking to settle in and be a valued part of a professional home environment.
Requirements
