Our home is always buzzing with energy as we juggle the activities of our three kids (ages 11, 9, and 4), along with school, sports, and time spent together as a family. Both parents balance professional careers, with one working part-time and the other in a demanding executive role, so our days are filled with movement and multitasking. We thrive on a routine that keeps us organized, while still making space to have fun as a family. We’re looking for someone who can be flexible with a summer schedule and transition smoothly into a more structured routine once the kids are in full-time school in the fall. As the school year begins, the role will evolve to fit our changing needs, but we’ll always value someone who can keep things running smoothly with a calm demeanor. Above all, we cherish our family’s energy and value someone who can step in with ease—helping lighten the mental load and stay on top of the day-to-day needs of our home. Who You Are This role is a natural fit for someone who enjoys stepping into a home and creating a sense of order, rhythm, and ease. There’s a strong sense of ownership in how responsibilities are handled—things don’t sit or pile up, they’re noticed early and taken care of thoughtfully. A proactive, “see it, do it” approach defines the way you work. You move through tasks with efficiency and intention, keeping spaces tidy, systems maintained, and the household running smoothly without needing constant direction. There’s a balance of being hands-on while also thinking a step ahead, anticipating needs and preventing small details from becoming larger issues. You bring a steady, grounded presence to a fast-moving environment. With a lot of activity and shifting priorities, you’re able to stay flexible while maintaining structure—adapting as needed without losing momentum. You’re comfortable working independently, while also staying in sync with the family’s preferences and overall vision for the home. There will be days when a parent is home and more hands-on in directing priorities, and other times when you’ll be working independently and managing the flow of the home on your own. In both cases, you step in as a true right-hand support—able to take guidance when needed while also confidently owning responsibilities without oversight. Strong judgment, emotional awareness, and clear communication are key. You’re easy to connect with, respectful of boundaries, and mindful of the dynamics of a home with children. You’re also comfortable stepping in for light childcare support when needed, bringing warmth and reliability in those moments. You’re confident using everyday tools for scheduling, ordering, and coordination, and take a systems-minded approach to keeping things organized week over week. There’s pride in not just completing tasks, but in setting the home up for success—leaving things reset, functional, and ready for what’s next. At your core, you are dependable, capable, and resourceful—bringing a calm, consistent presence and steady support that makes a meaningful difference in the flow of the home.
