We are a warm, close-knit family with four children and a beloved dog. Our household is filled with love, energy, and a mix of ages—from a newborn to a middle schooler, with a toddler and 10-year-old in between. We also have a high-energy Rhodesian Ridgeback who is a loving protector and enjoys regular walks. Mom has recently transitioned to being a stay-at-home parent after a career as a public school teacher, while Dad is a busy attorney with a demanding schedule. Currently, we are in a season of life that is a joyful - juggle! Mom is intentionally to be home with our youngest, and this transition also brings its own set of challenges as navigating the needs of a newborn, a toddler, and school-age children. While we are surrounded by family support, the consistent presence and extra hands we need to help manage household tasks and provide enriching activities for our children is an area of opportunity. As a family, we aspire to create a harmonious home where everyone feels nurtured, connected, and valued. We prioritize family time, and while our lives are busy, we aim to keep the household organized and calm. To help us achieve this, we’re seeking a long-term partner who can extend their support, bringing balance, creativity, and organization to our daily routines, while also providing light childcare when needed. We want someone who aligns with our values and can help us maintain a peaceful and joyful home environment as we grow together. We’re seeking a compassionate, patient, and organized individual who can provide a calming presence in our bustling home. This role involves supporting daily household tasks, and offering flexibility with school drop-offs and pickups, as well as light childcare, especially for our toddler. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and able to engage with our kids, especially in a nurturing, educational way. You will work closely with Mom to connect on daily priorities and schedules, ensuring that both household tasks and family needs are managed smoothly. You are creative and engaging, particularly with our toddler, finding ways to foster early childhood development through imaginative play, arts and crafts, and other age-appropriate activities. With your high emotional intelligence, you can read the room, adapt to the family’s changing needs, and support the household with patience and understanding. Whether it’s handling household tasks, helping Mom manage her day, or providing light childcare support, you’ll be proactive in easing the load and creating more space for quality family time. You’re a self-starter with a nurturing spirit, who thrives in a collaborative environment and understands the importance of maintaining a peaceful, well-organized home.
