About The Position

We’re a thoughtful, intentional family who care deeply about our well-being, our careers, and the way we show up for one another. We’re intentional about creating balance between family life, meaningful work, and time playing outdoors, and we believe a well-supported home plays a big role in making that possible. Both parents work full-time in demanding roles and are mindful about honoring energy, focus, and health alongside professional responsibilities. Our goal is a home that feels steady and cared for, where to-do lists are handled, systems are supported, and there’s mental space to be present with our child and with each other. Our son is 3.5 years old and attends Montessori daycare full time. He’s imaginative and independent, with a strong interest in outdoor play and hands-on learning. We value creativity, exploration, and experiential learning, and we’re excited by caregivers who enjoy engaging children in thoughtful and playful ways that support natural curiosity. We share our home with a sweet dog and have extended family nearby, which adds warmth and occasional movement to our household. Overall, we’re mindful, caring, and conscientious people who value harmony, positive energy, and mutual respect. We’re looking for support that feels collaborative and genuine, someone who truly cares about contributing to the flow of a well-functioning home. You genuinely enjoy being around kids and bring a playful, creative, and thoughtful approach to caregiving. You’re open to imaginative learning ideas, hands-on projects, and innovative ways to engage a curious preschooler through play, exploration, and everyday moments. You’re organized, dependable, and grounded, with a growth mindset and a strong sense of ownership in your work. You notice what needs doing, think ahead, and take initiative, even if it means experimenting, learning, and adjusting along the way. You’re confident enough to act, reflective enough to learn, and steady enough to create consistency. You bring positive energy, care, and emotional presence into the home. You’re mindful, conscientious, and respectful of family values and boundaries. You genuinely care about the people you support and take pride in contributing to a household that feels harmonious, supported, and well-run.
