About The Position

The House Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public areas of the hotel, and assisting room/suite attendants with general cleaning of guest rooms and suites. This includes tasks such as vacuuming, shampooing carpets, cleaning and waxing floors, trash removal, and stocking and maintaining supply rooms, along with other cleaning duties.

Requirements

Ability to arrive at work on time and when scheduled.
Ability to work independently, completing all daily assigned duties.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members verbally and/or in writing.
Ability to learn, follow, and enforce standards for cleanliness as they apply to the areas assigned.
Ability to follow all safety procedures/standards and able to recognize and act in emergency situations.
Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
No experience required.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean public corridors, which may include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, wiping, and dusting.
Deliver linen and supplies to room attendants and stock cage areas.
Participate in the scheduled general cleaning of guest rooms.
Report maintenance requests to ensure public areas comply with brand standards.
Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
Maintain regular attendance in conformance with the standards established by Hilton.
Assist with projects, as requested.
Assist co-workers as requested.
