About The Position

Are you passionate about the use of digital technologies for public health? Health Research, Inc. is seeking an Hourly Project Assistant II to work within the AIDS Institute’s Office of the Medical Director. The Hourly Project Assistant II will support the Digital Health Initiative which focuses on the research, development, implementation, and evaluation of digital tools to impact the AIDS Institute’s mission and goals. The Digital Health Initiative’s programs educate AIDS Institute staff and constituents about the various ways digital technologies enhance access to health information and the delivery of healthcare services. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public health communication, digital health technology and build workforce capacity by equipping participants with critical digital and social media skills that will be essential for managing future public health challenges.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a related educational program/field.
  • Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
  • Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
