Our team is our family and we mean it! All entry level technician candidates must have at least 1 year experience in the motorcycle or automotive industry and a killer drive. Basic understanding of computers is needed as this is used regularly. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and move at a fast pace. Moving of vehicles by hand is also required. In addition to being physically demanding this position is mentally demanding and often exhilarating. Those with confidence and a positive attitude in addition to a keen attention to detail are most successful at Mountain Motorsports.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience in the motorcycle or automotive industry
  • Basic understanding of computers
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and move at a fast pace
  • Moving of vehicles by hand
  • Confidence and a positive attitude
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • 1 -2 years related experience and/or training.
  • Basic computer knowledge i.e. typing and the use of scheduling systems
  • Frequent standing, walking and sitting.
  • Continuous oral communication.
  • Continuous hearing at a conversational level.
  • Frequent telephone and computer usage.
  • Working under deadlines.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50+lbs.
  • Frequent pushing of up to 100+ lbs.
  • Provide your own basic tools.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • 1 years of Motorcycle/Powersports or Automotive Dealership experience preferred
  • OEM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Perform test rides and other tests.
  • Follow all safety rules and guidelines, as determined by Georgia law and management.
