Requirements
- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide License Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Recent negative TB test
- Proof of MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella)
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- English Language
Nice To Haves
- Experience Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)
- Healthcare: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (dressing, mobility, bathing, grooming, toileting, exercise)
- Emotional support and companionship
- Medication reminders
- Accompany client to medical appointments, errands and social events
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Meal preparation
- Responsibilities vary per client
