About The Position

As a hotel service clerk you will be coordinating room cleaning schedules, and ensuring cleanliness and adherance to hotel standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Some computer skills, specifically with AS/400 system.
  • Familiarity with computer usage, pleasant phone manner and good communication skills
  • Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
  • Responsible for assigning day shift Guestroom Attendants’ work assignments.
  • Answers and logs all incoming calls from guests and other departments concerning Housekeeping, EVS and maintenance issues.
  • Dispatches guest requests concerning Housekeeping to Housekeeping Floor Supervisor or Houseperson.
  • Dispatches guest request or request from other departments to the proper trade mechanic.
  • Dispatches all requests concerning EVS to proper Shift Manager or Supervisor.
  • Provides trade mechanic with computer generated work ticket.
  • Updates work tickets and housekeeping calls upon completion of job.
  • Logs in all lost and found items.
  • Files completed log sheets, lost and found sheets and housekeeping assignment sheets.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned
