About The Position
Room Inspector (Housekeeping - Hotels) Hilton Garden Inn Oceanfront 📍 3315 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 🕒 Full-Time | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM+ Hilton Garden Inn Oceanfront is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Room Inspector to ensure guest rooms meet Hilton brand standards before being released for guest arrivals. This position focuses on quality control and inspection, not supervising staff. If you have a strong eye for detail and take pride in clean, guest-ready rooms, we’d love to meet you! Requirements
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Professional attitude and team-focused mindset
Responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms after cleaning to ensure they meet Hilton cleanliness and presentation standards
- Confirm rooms are properly stocked with linens, amenities, and supplies
- Identify and document issues needing correction before rooms are released
- Communicate room inspection results with housekeeping and front desk teams
- Report maintenance issues such as broken items, plumbing concerns, or safety hazards
- Verify guest requests and special room notes are completed correctly
- Ensure hallways, landings, and housekeeping areas remain neat and organized
- Follow lost and found procedures according to hotel policy
