About The Position

Buffalo Lodging offers an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated and ambitious individual that is looking to train, grow and gain valuable hospitality management industry experience. Through practical work experience and hands-on training, this individual will gain exposure in overall hotel operations, develop their leadership skills in a short amount of time. This is an opportunity for current college students to get a jump start on their hospitality career with our award-winning organization. Students will be trained in one of our 50 hotels in 7 states- NY, MA, OH, FL, NJ, RI, CT What to Expect: Comprehensive training in functions and operations of hotel departments including; Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Engineering. Learning line and staff functions, operations, management view points and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business. Participants will develop problem solving and decision-making abilities through direct observation, analysis and evaluations of various situations. Requirements

This is an entry level position.
Working on an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (B.A) in Hospitality Management or equivalent preferred; or one to two years related management or comparable experience strongly preferred.
Desire to be on a career path to a Hospitality Leadership role.
Ability to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service is necessary.
Computer knowledge including Word, Excel.
Ability to travel between our hotels if needed.
