The Hotel Maintenance team member assures that guests have a trouble-free stay in the Hotel. They inspect guest rooms for structure, furnishing, fixture and equipment problems. They perform basic maintenance duties to eliminate problems identified. In all interactions, the position is responsible for providing STAR Experience to guests and fellow team members a first priority. Complete daily rounds, checking on basic hotel accommodation and identifying and reporting any problems. Inspect for proper operation of following devices: lights, refrigerators, microwaves, clock radios, hair dryers, clothes irons and televisions. Make minor repairs such as changing light bulbs and replacement of defective appliances. Performs light preventive maintenance on PTAC units and all other apparatuses, according to manufacturer’s recommendations. Reads, comprehends and completes preventive maintenance sheets and performs tasks through work orders and verbal instructions. Notifies supervisor of any discrepancies and submits work orders to Building Maintenance for any major issues. Maintains a safe clean guest environment Cleans vents, filters, and drains on a periodical basis. Assists Housekeeping with deep cleaning of guest rooms, including extracting carpet and furniture. Performs periodical pest elimination as needed. Prepares the room, set up and operates the Heat Assault equipment, monitors the treatment, dismantles and stores the equipment. After the treatment is complete, conduct a deep cleaning of the room. Responds to guest complaints or issues in a timely manner and must also initiate work orders when issues cannot be immediately resolved. Cleans and sanitizes guest rooms to enhance the guest experience at Shooting Star Casino Hotel. Performs overall cleaning and sanitation of hotel rooms, including dusting, washing, vacuuming and polishing of walls, ceilings, woodwork, carpets, and furniture according to checklist. Performs deep cleaning such as shampooing carpet, vacuuming and/or extracting mattresses. Rotates mattresses, shower curtains, draperies and bedding according to schedule and guest needs. Inspect guest rooms for left items. If guest items are found notify PBX and log items. Return all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office or Security based on item value. Ensures guest rooms are properly stocked with amenities to ensure a comfortable stay at Shooting Star Casino Hotel. Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, paper supplies, toiletries. Report any missing inventory from hotel rooms. Stocks, cleans, and organize carts, counts, folds and carry linens. Clean and organize cart rooms. Ensures Hotel grounds are kept to the established standards of the Shooting Start casino Hotel. Empty trash receptacles. Provide basic lawn maintenance. Maintain the grounds of the Hotel as needed. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
