About The Position

Do you LOVE hotels? We are looking for motivated interns to gain a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations through a unique rotational internship program! This 10-week immersive program is designed to provide hands-on experience, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of both the Executive Offices, Food & Beverage, and Rooms Divisions to get a full and well rounded experience in the enitre hotel! Work closely with the executive leaders on important administration tasks and special projects. The Crescent hotel operates in a collaborative environment, allowing you to learn about the hospitality industry while working in a fun and fast-paced environment. This position is based from The Crescent Hotel, Fort Worth, TX.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in hospitality, finance, HR, or communications, business administration.
  • Minimum Junior Status.
  • Able to demonstrate professional work ethic.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft word and excel.
  • Ability to participate in a summer internship program of 10 weeks (June-August).
  • You must reside in Dallas, TX during the internship and work onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members on various projects to drive departmental initiatives.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support project objectives.
  • Prepare presentations and reports summarizing project findings.
  • Assist with general office duties, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Maintain and organize departmental records and files.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics for team events.
  • Serve as a point of contact for guests and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of guest-related events and activities.
  • Gather feedback from guests to enhance service quality and guest experience.
  • Rotate through various roles within the department to gain insight into daily operations.
  • Shadow team members to learn best practices and operational workflows.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions.
