About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and clean environment for guests and staff. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in cleaning and custodial services. Prior experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial settings is preferred but not mandatory. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in upholding our standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment.
  • Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts.
  • Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial management is a plus.
  • Prior experience with industrial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities in accordance with established standards.
  • Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing, to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed.
  • Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and debris.
  • Handle special cleaning projects, such as carpet cleaning, window washing, or deep cleaning, as required.
  • Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial work.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff.
