About The Position

As the Hotel Front Office Manager, you are responsible for the daily operation and direct management of all activities within the Front Desk & RV Park departments. You are also the point of contact that ensures daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations by responding and managing any escalated concerns. Your leadership is the prime example of maintaining a positive environment for both guests and fellow team members.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in role with similar responsibilities or with relevant transferrable skills in a similar environment preferred
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience and success controlling labor costs and expenses
  • Previous customer service experience within the Bell/Baggage, Valet, or Front Desk departments preferred
  • Analytical ability required, including the basic ability to read and interpret financial statements
  • Previous experience in LMS, UKG, and Stratton Warren preferred
  • Proficient in computer use, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
  • Basic ability to read and interpret financial statements
  • Ability to effectively communicate in small and large group settings as well as one-on-one
  • Experience providing high level of guest service
  • At least 21 Years of Age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
  • Occasionally push/pull up to 35lbs
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 35lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
  • Occasionally squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
  • Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer
  • Constantly stand and walk for prlonged period of time
  • Frequent move throughout the property
  • Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
  • Constant use of hearing and vision, distinguish between shades of color and use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, develop, measure performance, discipline, and schedule department team members to ensure coverage based on business demands
  • Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership
  • Establish standards of service within assigned departments and ensure achievement
  • Monitor maintenance and appearance of assigned departments and provide suggestions for improvement as needed
  • Assist with ongoing analysis of financial reports to monitor the profitability and expenses of Front Desk and RV Park Operations
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints and comments by following up with involved parties to resolve the matter to the guest's satisfaction
  • Ensure groups are properly checked into the property
  • Input payroll information to ensure team members are properly paid
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
