About The Position

We are currently looking for an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping Team! Our Home2 Suites by Hilton, a 124 all -suites hotel, is located off University Boulevard, a short walk from dining and five minutes from The University of Central Florida. Addition Financial Arena, FBC Mortgage Stadium, and Blanchard Park are within three miles. Our guests enjoy our in-suite kitchens, outdoor saline pool, and fitness center, featuring a Peloton® Bike with toe cages. Hot complimentary daily breakfast is offered to all our guests. The Home2 Suites-UCF is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. A GROWING HOTEL MANAGEMENT COMPANY – COME JOIN US! Role: This position is responsible for the operation and management of the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure maximum service quality. Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel including rooms and public areas.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience is required.
  • Must be available for day shift and have flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Schedule is based on hotel occupancy.
  • High School diploma or equivalent and three years experience in housekeeping function in a hotel or similar industry to include two years in a managerial/supervisory capacity.
  • Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
  • Supervises employees in housekeeping department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations’ policies and applicable laws.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and counseling employees; planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems
