About The Position

Hotel Evening Restaurant Server The Hilton Garden Inn located in Wooster, Ohio is currently looking to add to our team. Must provide excellent customer skills, provide a postive attitude, willingness to learn and promote new menu items, must have a strong work ethic. A restaurant server takes orders, answers questions about the menu and food, sells the restaurant'd food and drinks, takes payment, communicates orders with the kitchen staff, seats customers, and helps with customer service and cleaning. Server Job Description: Entails providing customers with an exceptional dining experience by taking their orders, ensuring that food and drinks are served proptly and efficiently and keeping the dining area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders, and serve food and drinks
• Explain menu items and make suggestions
• Ensure correct and timely delivering of orders and drinks
• Monitor food and drink quality, and notify management of any issues
• Keep tables clean and presentatble for the next customer
• Handle payment transaction, and make correct change
• Uphold standards of cleaniless and hygiene
• Respond to customer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant policy and precedure
