Requirements

Strong knowledge of painting techniques, color matching, and surface preparation.
Ability to use painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Basic understanding of general maintenance tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years of experience in painting and maintenance, preferably in hospitality

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
Apply paint, stain, varnish, and specialty finishes using professional techniques.
Match colors and maintain consistency with Omni design standards.
Perform touch-ups and repainting to keep guest areas pristine.
Inspect painted surfaces regularly for wear and damage.
Assist with minor wall and trim repairs prior to painting.
Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests.
Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks as needed.
Follow Omni safety protocols and use proper PPE.
Maintain compliance with local building and fire codes.
Track paint supplies and tools, ensuring proper storage and cleanliness.
Coordinate with vendors for specialty finishes and materials.
