About The Position

The hotel desk agent greets and welcomes guests to the establishment and makes them feel comfortable in their environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Customer service background.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and welcomes guests.
  • Assigns rooms and keys. (never giving out room number out loud)
  • Maintains room availability.
  • Collects and distributes cash handling for hotel
  • Prepares bills and collects payment for visits.
  • Assists in solving billing discrepancies.
  • Answers inquiries regarding hotel area and services.
  • Secures patrons’ valuables in the safe.
  • Provides suggestions of places to visit eat and shop.
  • Answering phone is using correct brand verbiage.
  • Maintains hotel records.
  • Insure the safety of our guest’s property assets; never open door for guest’s who forgot their key (redirect them back to the front desk)
