About The Position

Join the team at Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area as an Administrative Coordinator to support Human Resources, Accounting, and general administrative operations in Somerville, MA. This role is essential in supporting daily administrative operations to ensure the smooth functioning of our hotel. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative or hospitality experience required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with PayCom or similar systems preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings/weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and move throughout the property as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support HR functions including onboarding, recruitment coordination, policy updates, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare meeting materials, daily communication, and maintain personnel files.
  • Assist with training coordination and compliance tracking.
  • Perform general cashiering duties: collect deposits, prepare bank deposits, maintain house funds, audit safe, and manage petty cash.
  • Support Accounts Payable: process invoices, maintain expense tracking, prepare vendor applications.
  • Order office supplies and support administrative needs across departments.
  • Participate in employee relations activities and leadership meetings.
