Requirements

• 1 year of previous kitchen experience
• High-energy, proactive individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work (and have fun!) in a diverse team
• Ability to work under stress
• Attention to detail
• Passionate about food
• Possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s card within 7 days of hire
• Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery, knives, etc.
• Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat and work in a confined area
• Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable bending, reaching, and moving quickly
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus (although not required)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and uphold our company core values at all times.
• Accurately and efficiently cook pasta, sauces, and other hot food items according to company standards.
• Prepare and portion ingredients in advance to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Handle all preparation for items required in daily operations.
• Communicate effectively with the Cold Line and Food Expeditor to ensure seamless BOH workflow.
• Take responsibility for daily hotline operations and maintain general kitchen cleanliness.
• Follow all standard recipes, portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures consistently.
• Stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at your station to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, including the walk-in cooler.
• Comply with all nutrition, sanitation, and food safety guidelines.
• Other duties as necessary and assigned.
