About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team in Kenner, United States. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create a welcoming atmosphere while managing seating arrangements and ensuring smooth dining operations. Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly manner Manage the restaurant's waiting list and coordinate seating arrangements Answer phones and handle reservations efficiently Provide accurate wait times to guests and manage their expectations Guide guests to their tables and present menus Maintain cleanliness of the reception area Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure optimal dining experience Monitor dining room capacity and table status Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed Handle guest inquiries and special requests professionally

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with restaurant POS systems
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for managing reservations
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods
