Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Host or in a guest-facing role is preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills and a polished phone manner
  • Friendly, professional, and engaging personality with a passion for hospitality
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a high-energy setting
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interact with guests in a courteous and respectful manner
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment, contributing to an excellent guest experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus
  • A background in fine-dining or upscale-casual restaurants is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
  • Manage dining room reservations and assist in arranging parties or special events
  • Coordinate guest seating arrangements and assist in managing dining room flow
  • Assist with to-go orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
  • Provide special services for diners celebrating special occasions
  • Maintain the front-of-house area, ensuring a neat and clean environment for guests and staff
  • Collaborate with the management team to assist with special events, as well as ad hoc tasks as needed
  • Ensure all guests receive an exceptional dining experience from start to finish
  • Assist with guest needs and help guide them through the menu, ensuring a seamless dining experience
