About The Position

Maxime’s is NYC’s newest private member’s club from entrepreneur Robin Birley; owner of prestigious private member’s clubs 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s in London. Maxime’s mission is to provide exceptional and discreet service for our members through unparalleled hospitality. Our aim is to make members feel as though they are in a private home, enjoying outstanding food and wine surrounded by stunning decor. Maxime’s is the newest private member’s club from entrepreneur Robin Birley, located on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York City. We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to join our team. Reporting to the Reception Manager the Host will provide impeccable hospitality to each member and their guests, always creating a welcoming atmosphere and elevating Maxime’s brand and service standards. You’ll be working as part of an established team delivering exceptional experiences daily. Requirements

Proven success as a Host within fine dining, Michelin-starred establishments, or luxury hotel settings
Has a passion for exceptional hospitality in food and beverage
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Operates at a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Exudes warmth and hospitality in all correspondence with members, visitors, and team members
Good phone etiquette
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business
Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment
Ability to learn and adapt to new systems (Tevalis & SevenRooms) required
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with restaurant POS and reservations systems

Ensure all members are welcomed to the club using the appropriate name/title as appropriate
Deal with all enquiries and bookings as necessary
Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment
Deliver exceptional experiences daily as part of an established team
