The Host Person position is responsible for meeting, greeting, and seating guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. This role involves managing the flow of reservations to maximize the guest experience, answering the phone, and taking, tracking, and organizing reservations, to-go orders, and special requests.

Requirements

  • Must have an exceptional personality and hospitality driven attitude
  • Must be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic and able to multitask
  • Must be a highly organized individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks at a time
  • Able to take initiative in a VIP driven and guest service focused environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintains a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of one (1) years relevant experience in high-end, service-focused environment.
  • Must be able to provide documentation that shows you are authorized to work in the United States.
  • Secure and maintain the current status of all required certificates, licenses, or registrations when required by local, state, or federal government agencies.
  • ANSI approved Food Handler Card
  • Responsible Beverage Service certificate recognized by the ABC.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year experience in a contemporary dining restaurant
  • Experience with taking reservations a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures a seamless guest experience
  • Approaches guest and collects information needed to assist with seat and bar arrangements.
  • Maintains knowledge of the venue floor plan and table numbers, seating the room evenly and consistently per venue management’s instruction.
  • Greets all guests warmly.
  • Maintains a clean and organized reception area.
  • Performs opening, running, and closing side work
  • Manages the flow of reservations to maximize the guest experience
  • Answering the phone and taking, tracking, and organizing reservations, to-go orders, and special requests
