About The Position

The Watergate Hotel is a luxurious urban resort located along the banks of the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. It blends modern design with a storied past, aiming to redefine luxury and make travel and business occasions worth celebrating. The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of the city's cultural attractions, theaters, museums, and national memorials. The Watergate Hotel is currently seeking warm, gracious, and experienced Host(ess) to join its dynamic Food & Beverage team.

Requirements

1+ year of host(ess) experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant or hotel setting
Prior experience with multi-line phones
Prior experience with reservations software such as Open Table
Prior experience with MICROS
Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.
Possess an uplifting and polished presence with a genuine desire to enhance the guest experience with warm and gracious service
Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
Superior communicator with fluency in English
A High School Diploma is required
Physically able to meet the demands of the position such as: walk/stand for extended periods of time while on shift
