About The Position

Arnie’s, Cherry Hills Country Club’s signature steak and seafood restaurant, honors the legacy of Arnold Palmer while celebrating high-quality, locally sourced, and seasonal ingredients. Offering classic American favorites, premium wine and spirits, and an intimate yet approachable dining atmosphere, Arnie’s is the refined centerpiece of the Club’s culinary program. As the Host/Hostess, you are the first impression of this experience - welcoming members and their guests, managing reservations and seating with precision, and ensuring the dining room flows seamlessly. We are seeking an individual with excellent attention to detail, polished communication skills, and a passion for hospitality in a refined dining environment. The ideal candidate thrives in creating warm and memorable moments while upholding the Club’s tradition of excellence.

Requirements

  • Polished and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Previous fine dining, club, hotel, or resort experience preferred.
  • Experience with reservations, pacing, and guest flow management in an upscale dining environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor settings when greeting members upon arrival.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Create a gracious, welcoming experience at Arnie’s by greeting and engaging with members and guests upon arrival and departure.
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments, ensuring accuracy and personalization by honoring member preferences.
  • Escort members to their tables with professionalism and hospitality, ensuring menus and service settings are polished and ready.
  • Maintain awareness of dining pace, server sections, and overall flow to support efficient, elevated service.
  • Collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, and managers to anticipate and meet member needs.
  • Recognize member names, note special occasions, and ensure thoughtful, personalized touches throughout the dining experience.
  • Keep the host stand and entrance area tidy, professional, and reflective of Arnie’s refined yet approachable atmosphere.
  • Provide informed responses to member inquiries about Arnie’s menu, Club dining outlets, or upcoming events.
