About The Position

If you’re the kind of person who can greet guests with a Family Style Service smile, juggle transactions with ease, and keep the dining flow smooth as a desert breeze, this role might be your perfect fit. As a Host Cashier at the Beach Café, you’ll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for each guest’s dining experience while ensuring accurate and efficient cash handling.

Requirements

1 year of cash‑handling experience preferred
Valid Health Card
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Comfort with basic math and using a cash register
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and seat them using a rotation system to maximize service
Answer phones with professional etiquette and assist with reservations
Communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and supervisors
Clear and reset tables quickly during peak hours—aiming for under two minutes
Accurately process payments and return correct change or receipts
Maintain your assigned cash bank and complete end‑of‑shift reports
Learn and operate the POS system used by the outlet
